Saturday 3rd November from 1pm to 5pm
This is an opportunity for all those aspiring young musicians to enhance their musical skills.
The workshops will cover composition, improvisation, jazz theory, chance to play in an ensemble and all under the tutorage of 3 internationally respected musicians each with extensive experience in developing and delivering the highest quality of musical workshop.
The emphasis is on learning, playing, developing skills and having a fun experience with both group and one on one involvement.
Tina May (vocals), Nikki Iles (piano), Nigel Clark (guitar)
Sessions start at 13.00 and finish at 17.00. After a break there will be an opportunity to take part in the opening session of the evening concert supporting Tina, Nikki and Nigel.
As an approximate skills guideline: Age 11 and over and be able to play around grade 2/3. Please note, this does not mean you need Grade 2/3 qualification, it means your current playing level should be of this standard or better.
You will need to bring your own instrument and instrument stand.
Keys: We have a piano but feel free to bring your own keyboard.
